Books

My very first book (now out of print) was self-published in 1997, before there was any easy way of doing that. Called ‘Choose Your Thoughts, Change Your Life’ it was an offshoot of the work I had been doing as the UK and Europe’s first ‘You Can Heal Your Life' study group leader.

So when I wrote Gifted By Grief: A True Story of Cancer, Loss and Rebirth, this was in fact my second book. It’s still available and is a memoir of the time up to, during and after when my first husband was diagnosed with stomach cancer.

It’s also a rollercoaster of a ride into my discoveries of who we are when we realise there is a lot more to us than just our bodies!

Readers response to this led to my next book, published by Findhorn Press,
Before I Go: The Essential Guide to Creating a Good End of Life Plan.

Sadly, the company I founded (Before I Go Solutions) has now closed, meaning the links in this book are now defunct. But the content still stands and is brilliant, even if I do say so myself. It’s about all that is needed to make sure you and your loved ones are prepared in the best possible way for the inevitable.

Then the last to date is a booklet, 7 Steps to Thinking Rich, and outlines a few of the principles behind all of my work. Similar to the idea that ‘thoughts become things’, it’s a short read with a big impact.

This was written in the spring of 2024, when I really thought it would be the precursor to a much longer book on a similar subject. But life has taken me on a different journey, and here we are with Embracing Ageing. There may yet be another book coming!
